We are the only designer & manufacturer of guillotine type exhaust brakes in the Country.
Our product is built while using only the best materials available for the application (Stainless Steel actuating cylinders and shafts, high temperature Viton seals etc.
Our brakes are also known to outperform any conventional butterfly type exhaust brake out there.
We build air, vacuum and HYDRAULIC operated exhaust brakes (mainly for the mining machinery applications), also offering different sizes, to fit wide range of diesel operated vehicles and machinery.

Australia first hydraulically operated exhaust brakes for underground mining machinery
SGV team has recently built the first in Australia hydraulically operated exhaust brakes for underground mining machinery.
“We’ve had a few enquiries from the manufacturers of special underground mining vehicles to create an exhaust brake which can be operated hydraulically. Those vehicles neither had air or vacuum pumps available, oil was the only driving force presented” said Karl Wolinski, Managing Director of SGV.
“We’ve supplied those companies with our air operated exhaust brakes in the past, and we were happy to take on the new challenge.”
